WHAT IS CRABISTAN?
Crabistan is a unique full immersion experience hosted by Mudcrab Milsim at D-Day Adventure Park. This experience is for dedicated mil-sim, role-play, and outdoor enthusiasts. This experience is non-stop and participants need to be properly prepared for on-field encampment and the roles they'll play. Please study this page and read and understand the rules for this event as they are designed for your safety and immersion in mind.
THE SPIRIT OF CRABISTAN
We wanted Crabistan to be a social, accessible, and immersive airsoft experience. At Crabistan players create their own emergent adventures through the roles they choose to play. When you are in Crabistan you are in “character” for the experience and we encourage you to get creative and develop fun and unique personas as part of the game world.
We ask that you respect the spirit of the game and the enjoyment of your fellow players by refraining from doing things that might ruin the fun for others. Behaving like a “murder-hobo” or “chaos gremlin” for no other purpose than to disrupt the flow of the experience ruins it for everyone. You should always aim to only do things that your character would do, and avoid things that might bring reprisal, detainment, or in-character death.
TIERS OF THE SUCK
Each faction at Crabistan has unique camping guidelines, objectives, and organization. No two factions have the same experience, and some factions are not for the faint of heart. For example: Military factions conduct challenging long range patrols and are expected to camp in patrol base where Civilians effectively “glamp” on the field and occupy themselves with different objectives (employment, insurgency, etc.). Find the tier of suck that’s right for you.

TIMELINE, SETTING, factions
This experience takes place in an alternate 1990s timeline where the Soviet Union didn’t collapse and the Cold War rages on. Crabistan and its neighbor Crabrak are poor and mountainous countries with a history of conflict and rich cultural tradition. Inspired by the Soviet Afghan War as well as conflicts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the cultural identity of Crabistan blends the cultures of all these regions into something totally unique.
Though participants are expected to follow their faction uniform guidelines, period correct equipment is not required but players who make an honest effort at period correct impressions will receive in-game starting bonuses.
Uniforms and Approved Camouflage - Headgear, tops, and bottoms must adhere to the guidelines for your faction. No camouflage patterns from after 2001 will be permitted for this event. This specifically includes military patterns such as MULTICAM and its variants, UCP/ACU, MARPAT, ABU, etc.
Equipment Exception - Though the base uniform is required to be in the appropriate color/camo, equipment such as chest rigs, slings, and holsters may be in any colors/camos at your own risk of friendly fire and forfeiting the impression starting bonus.
